Having spent majority of his life in Canada even though he was born in HK, Ian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and started an exhilarating career in Investment banking. After working 6 years in trading equities and derivatives in the market, he took a 180-degree turn from 15-hour workdays with 6 monitors to being an extroverted real estate agent for commercial properties.
Transitioning into real estate, he was fortunate in soliciting several local and international clients such as Wan Kee Sports Group, Swire Properties & Starbucks in leasing prime retail real estate in CBD and New Territories in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining List Sotheby’s HK, he assisted corporate clients such as DBS, P&G Asia & Henderson Ltd in relocating their employees from overseas in settling a new life in Hong Kong.
One of the crucial reasons he has decided to join List Sotheby's HK is to promote his current/prospective clients to List Sotheby’s international partners with high-end luxury real estate.
